Meet the Top Dogs
Tana Greene, Co-Founder and CEO
Tana is an unstoppable force who ignites joy wherever she goes. She started her first business by the time she was 29 and has never looked back. That was 1988. This gutsy entrepreneur has a big heart and an even bigger vision for where the staffing and transportation industries are headed. Tana is always challenging employees to discover and celebrate their strengths and the people who surround them. She believes when you know what you do and how it makes a difference, you have more joy in your life. When not in the office, she’s raising money for non-profits, oil painting, traveling, exercising, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Mike Greene, Co-Founder and Chairman
The true elder statesman of the company (hey, somebody has to be the oldest), Mike began in outside sales, where he learned to appreciate firsthand the daily challenges sales people have to overcome to grow the top line. Watching the company sprout from literally nothing to its current and projected levels fills Mike with tremendous pride and sometimes even a bit of disbelief, evoking a profound appreciation for the loyalty and work ethic personified in our teams. Working these days more often from his home office, Mike is able to spend a bit more time playing his electric guitars (for personal – not public – enjoyment!), exercising, and doing more saltwater fly fishing.
Todd Warner, Chief Operations Officer
The “old man” of the team, Todd started in staffing with a quarter in his pocket for the pay phone and index cards, 30 years ago. He is the mad scientist in the basement trying to create a better way some days and others he is out selling what this great team can do. He is truly passionate about the Road Dog Team and what it does for the people it impacts. Grandpa’s interests are his family, his work family and his motorcycle…not necessarily in that order. “Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory…lasts forever.” – Shane Falco, The Replacements
Jay Pochini, Executive V.P. of Operations
Jay has been in the staffing business for 30 years, and if you ask him he’ll tell you he was 12 years old when he started. Jay started as a recruiter and worked his way up the corporate ladder to opening and overseeing hundreds of onsite operations. Jay focuses on client/employee relations, startups and client retention. Jay is a field guy who spends lots of time working with our clients’ side by side. You are most likely to pass Jay at an airport near you. Jay believes you must work hard and have fun each day, which he learned from his Grandmother. Well, she would be very proud of our E.V.P. of Fun.
Kelly Mulligan, Director of Operations
Kelly is our jack of all trades. Kelly has been with the company for six years starting in a sales position, to branch manager, to regional manager that eventually led to handling anything and everything that comes the organization’s way. She is a former Sgt. of the United States Army and often utilizes the lessons learned from her combat experience to navigate the ever-changing landscape of the staffing and transportation industries. When she isn’t conquering special projects, she can be found at the gym kickboxing, spending time with her husband and son, and always on the hunt for good food and drink.
Patricia Hedrick, Director of Risk Management
With more than a decade as a risk manager in the staffing industry, Patricia has become adept at the art of “walking the tightrope” between risk and reward. She moves adeptly between a work comp claim to an insurance audit, and in between, she’s negotiating a contract of a potential client. Patricia uses her experience as a manager, a paralegal and a mom (two girls and a puppy), to guide and protect. Make no mistake, when needed, she’s not afraid to crush potential threats to the company or her work family. She believes in balance – giving people room to do their thing but rein them in when they get too close to the cliff. That goes for her personal life as well, anything goes, to a point…
Brandi Kiser, Controller
Brandi came into Road Dog with over ten years of retail, manufacturing and construction accounting experience. She witnesses the positive impact of the opportunities our team is able offer to our employees and their families daily, and that has kept her in the staffing industry for over six years. When not producing financials and managing budgets, Brandi is also a delivery driver to her two children by shuttling them to baseball, soccer, and basketball games. When she and her husband aren’t at a game or practice – they enjoy gardening, cooking, hiking, camping, live music and spending time with friends and family. Her family’s newest adventure is training to hike a portion of the Appalachian Trail in the near future. “Yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not yet come, all we have is today. Let us begin.” – Mother Teresa
Suzanne Wood, PHR, Payroll Manager
Suzanne joined Greene Group in 2004 and leads our powerful payroll team. She is a certified geek in creating flawless processes. When the work is complete, this southern North Carolina native enjoys summertime, beach visits, power walking, pool time, music, dancing, site seeing and photography. Suzanne advocates and encourages all to find their passion and to be their absolute best present being.
Marcy Garcia, National Sales Director
Marcy brings 15 years of transportation staffing. Marcy is based out of Southern CA and is on the constant search to find clients who can offer the best jobs possible in the logistics/distribution world. If that is not exciting enough, in her spare time she is seeking adventure riding on an Indian Chief or off-roading in her Jeep. Never a dull moment with this one, Venti Iced Coffee during the week exchanged for a cold proper pint of Guinness on the weekend. Her dream is to open Road Dog in Ireland. “If you’re not first you’re Last” – Ricky Bobby
Mindy Le, Director of Northwest
Mindy Le is considered a female version of Genghis Kahn but in a good way. Mindy has been in the transportation staffing industry for over 15 years. She runs one of the industry’s most successful operations in Northern CA. Mindy’s favorite thing is taking what some consider an impossible task and crushing it through hard work, creativity and determination. “Conquering the world on horseback is easy; it is dismounting and governing that is hard.” – Genghis Kahn
Byron Sanders, Director of Southwest
Byron could be called the Director of Positivity. He channels his old days as a defensive back for San Diego State mixing competitiveness and teamwork to drive one of the largest transportation businesses in the U.S.; a business that started with Byron, a cell phone, a laptop and a table in the corner of Starbucks in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. “The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangibles, and achieves the impossible.” – Winston Churchill
